Gannon Center for Women & Leadership

The Gannon Center for Women and Leadership was established in 1993 in honor of Ann Ida Gannon, BVM, a former president of Mundelein College. While honoring Sister Ann Ida’s legacy and the legacy of Mundelein College, the Gannon Center engages in Loyola’s mission of transformative education through a focus on developing and empowering women leaders.

Why should I give?

When you give to the Gannon Center for Women and Leadership you are helping to provide programs, research, and service to engage young women as leaders at Loyola and beyond.

What do the funds support?

Established in 1944, the Women and Leadership Archives collects, preserves, and makes available valuable records of women and women's organizations, which document women's lives, roles, and contributions. Your gift to this fund directly supports the archives.

Your gift to Gannon Center's Greatest Needs or Gannon Scholars directly supports women’s leadership education at all levels of study and keeps the Spirit of Mundelein alive for today's students.
